With so many activities to do this summer on the North Shore, it’s hard to narrow it down! This list of our top five will ensure a fun and action packed day:
On the top of the list is the Capilano Suspension Bridge….It is an amazing experience, and with the new Cliffwalk attraction, it won’t disappoint.
Second, we have visiting Grouse Mountain. This attraction is famous all over Vancouver for its Grizzly bears….make sure to take a gondola ride up and see if you can spot any.
Third we have camping at Granite Falls. There are lots of places to go camping in the Vancouver area, and if you aren’t fond of camping, there are lots of hiking trails that you can give a try. Granite falls is one of the most beautiful camp sites. It is a 3-4 hour kayak paddle, but is defiantly worth it….this memorable kayak paddle shows you how beautiful British Columbia is.
Fourth, we have rafting down the Howe Sound. This raft takes you on a two hour adventure to the spectacular scenery and wildlife of the North Shore.
Last, we have taking a trip to Rice Lake. This is one of the best fishing places on the North Shore, if you have a licence. If you don’t fish, then you can spend a relaxing day by the lake.
There you have it, the top five summer activities that you must try out before this great weather turns wet. Get out and enjoy 🙂
